How to read this
Specific yield (annual kWh per installed kWp) is the fairest way to compare solar systems of different sizes. This tool compares yours to the 1,440 kWh/kWp median measured across the Renewable Labs monitored fleet in Cyprus over the last year.
A result below the benchmark doesn't prove a fault on its own: orientation, tilt, shading and grid curtailment all vary site to site. But a persistent gap of 10% or more is usually recoverable: soiling, inverter or string faults, and unnoticed downtime are the common culprits, and all are addressable with monitoring and O&M. A well-run Cyprus system should clear the benchmark comfortably.
